YOUTH CENTRES

YEfL uses the Youth Centre approach as a tool for social empowerment. This concept brings together the scattered youth to a common platform to learn and share information with each other. Also, it strengthens social networks, promote community mobilization and development. Such platforms form the basis for equipping youth with knowledge, skills, attitudinal changes, values and ethics that build them up to become ambassadors for youth development in their various communities, districts and beyond.

We have 10 youth centres in 10 districts in Northern region of Ghana at various stages of development in terms of infrastructure. A model youth centre must have sporting features, youthful library, workshop for skill development and office space.
