PYRACE is short for "Promoting Youth Representation and Civic Engagement". This project is an Oxfam sponsored project to promote youth representation in decision making as well as for the youth to live as good citizens to contribute their quota to community development of their respective communities.

Young persons need to be heard and to be part of decisions and solutions that affect them directly or indirectly. They need to be treated as social partners. Meaningful youth engagement is built on the recognition that every young person has something to contribute to continuous betterment of society.

 

“Promoting Youth Representation and Civic Engagement” project was initiated to contribute to addressing the issues that affect youth active participation in decisions making processes. The project is being implemented by YEFL-Ghana with funding and technical support from Oxfam Ibis Ghana.
